I asked Emmitt to give me a kiss for the camera. He went all shy and silly about that and had a hard time kissing me instead of giggling. It was a special day for our sweet boy Emmitt. He was so ready to be baptized.
Grandma Ellen and Kelsey were able to give talks, Kenna prayed, and his dad was able to baptize and confirm him.
When Kelsey gave her talk at Emmitt's baptism she joked about when he was born and she found out what his name was, she said to Buttons and Marion "Emmitt? That's not a name, that's just a sound!" As Emmitt was typing this blog post, his name appears underlined in red, meaning it is spelled incorrectly. Emmitt saw the red squiggly line and said to me "What? Red squigglies? Maybe my name IS just a sound!" I laughed and laughed.
